<br />3. Any equipment that will be used for other activities, in addition to the funded <br />project, may. only be funded at an amount reflecting the appropriate percentage of <br />time it will be directly used for the funded project. <br /> <br />(e). Construction <br /> <br />1. Appropriate construction costs, related to the enhancement of building of <br />permanent facilities, may be authorized, including costs of planning, of materials and <br />labor, of attached equipment and of any subcontracts performed as part of the <br />project. <br /> <br />2. No expenditures under the" Construction" expense category shall be <br />allowed unless approved in advance by CAPCO in writing. <br /> <br />3. All applicåble laws and regulations concerning bidding and contracting for <br />service must be followed. <br /> <br />(t). Contractual Expenses <br /> <br />1. Expenses for professional services or tasks provided by a firm or individual <br />who is not employed by the SUBCONTRACTOR, and which are related directly to <br />the approved implementation project, may be authorized at CAPCO's discretion if <br />there is a demonstrated need to subcontract for said expense. <br /> <br />2. No contractual costs may be incurred by the SUBCONTRACTOR unless the <br />contract is approved in advance by CAPCO in writing. An attempted assignment or <br />subcontract in violation of this subsection is void. <br /> <br />3. All applicable laws and regulations concerning bidding and contracting for <br />service must be followed. <br /> <br />4. If CAPCO consents to the SUBCONTRACTOR's subcontracting, each such <br />subcontract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of this Contract. The <br />SUBCONTRACTOR further agrees to furnish a copy of this Contract to the party (5) <br />with which they have subcontracted. <br /> <br /> <br />(g). Other Expenses <br /> <br />1. Other Expenses, not falling under the main expense categories, may be <br />authorized, if appropriate for the proposed project. <br /> <br />2. Any "Other" category expenses not specifically spelled out belov.;, <br />including computer hardware or software purchases not included under the <br />"Equipment" expense category, shall be reimbursed only if approved in advance by <br />CAPCO in writing. <br />3. Other expenses, related directly to the approved implementation project, for <br />which prior authorization is not generally required include: <br /> <br />Capital Area Planning Council <br />FY 1998 Solid Waste Contract 16 <br />
