<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.3.1 Perform a preliminary drainage and storm-water detention design evaluation. In addition, <br />the Engineer will prepare a drainage area map with appropriate data for City review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Prepare a Watershed Protection Plan, Phase I application and submit to the City for <br />review and approval. Address City review comments and assist in finalizing the application for <br />City approval. All City related review fees will be waived by the City. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRAINTS ANALYSIS <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Conduct background reviews and field surveys, as appropriate, to address archaeological <br />and ecological issues (wetlands/waters of the US and endangered species habitat) of the Project <br />area. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Follow the guidelines of the City of San Marcos Land Development Code (Technical <br />Manual Division 19, Watershed Protection Plan, Phase II) prepare a letter report of findings <br />which will describe potential environmental constraints. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Based on a previous survey prepared by Whitenton Group, Inc. identifying potential <br />jurisdictional waters of the US, prepare a jurisdictional waters delineation report and submit to <br />the City with the environmental constraints analysis. <br /> <br />1.5 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES <br /> <br />1.5.1 The City may direct the Engineer to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.4 above. The Engineer will submit a written <br />estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional <br />serVIces. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 13.2 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $25,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br /> <br />Village Master Plan. doc <br /> <br />3 <br />
