<br /> It is unlawful for any bank, building and loan association, insurance company or
<br /> other corporation, association, firm or enterprise whose business consists in whole or in
<br /> part in the making of real estate loans to deny a loan or other financial assistance to a
<br /> person applying for a loan or other financial assistance for the purpose of purchasing,
<br /> constructing, improving, repairing or maintaining a dvv'elling based on the sex, race, color,
<br /> religion or national origin of the person. It is unla.t'vful for any bank, building and loan
<br /> association, insurance company or other corporation, association, firm or enterprise v,,-hose
<br /> business consists in vv'hole or in part in the making of real estate loans to discriminate
<br /> against any person in the fixing of the amount, interest rate, duration or other terms and
<br /> conditions of a loan or other financial assistance for housing purposes named in this
<br /> subsection based on the sex, race, color, religion or national origin of any person.
<br /> Sec. 46.087. Discrimination in residential real estate-related transactions.
<br /> (a) A person whose business includes engaaina in residential real estate-related
<br /> transactions may not discriminate aaainst another person in makina a real estate-related
<br /> transaction available or in the terms or conditions of a real estate-related transaction
<br /> because of race. color. religion. sex. disability. familial status. or national origin.
<br /> (b) In this section. residential real estate related transaction means:
<br /> (1) Makina or purchasing loans or providing other financial assistance:
<br /> (A) to purchase. construct. improve repair or maintain a dwellina: or
<br /> (B) to secure residential real estate: or
<br /> (2) Selling. brokerina. or appraisina of residential real property.
<br /> Sec. 46.088 46.079. Discrimination in providing brokerage services.
<br /> It is unlavvful for A 8f1Y person may not te deny another any person access to, or
<br /> membership iR or participation in, a 8fly multiple listing service, real estate brokers'
<br /> organization or other housing service, organization, or facility relating to the business of
<br /> selling 8fld or renting dwellings, or discriminate aaainst a person in terms or conditions of
<br /> access. membership. or participation in such an organization. service or facility because
<br /> of based on the sex, race, color, religion, disability. familial status or national origin:. oHhe
<br /> person. It is unlarHfuI for any person to discriminate against another person in the terms or
<br /> conditions of the access, membership or participation in the organizations named in this
<br /> section based on the sex, race, color, religion or national origin of the other person.
<br /> Sec. 46.089 46.080. Intimidation or inteñerence.
<br /> (a) It is unlawful for any person, whether or not acting under color of law. by force
<br /> or threat of force. to willfully intentionally ffijtwe, intimidate or interfere with or attempt to
<br /> injure, intimidate or interfere with a person:
<br /> (1) because of the person's race, color. reliaion. sex. disability. familial status or
<br /> national oriain and because the Arty person whe is or has been selling, purchasing,
<br /> renting, financing, occupying or contracting, or negotiating for the sale, purchase,
<br /> rental, financing or occupation of any dwelling, or applying for or participatina in a
<br /> service. oraanization. or facility relatina to the business of sellina or rentina
<br /> dwellinas: or "tVhen an injury, intimidation or interference ViaS inflicted because of the
<br /> person's sex, race, color, religion or national origin.
<br /> (2) Any person because the person is or has been or to intimidate a person from:
