1.2.1 Prepare an AutoCAD V.12 file of the proposed route based on aerial photography
that was exposed during the flight for the Gary Job Corps Force Main Project. The
Surveyor will furnish a map of the route containing planimetrics and contours
without any field survey data on or before that date. Field data will be added by the
Surveyor as it is accumulated.
1.2.2 Establish additional horizontal and vertical control necessary for mapping.
1.2.3 Provide field horizontal and vertical surveys of planimetric and utility features not
mapped by the aerial photography. This will include:
a) visible surface features of underground utilities, with elevations
of tops and flowlines;
b) underground routing, if possible, from available records or field
determ ination,
c) overhead routing of utilities;
d) drainage culverts and pipes; and
e) driveways where needed.
1.2.4 Provide aerial mapping file at a scale of 1 "=1 00' and l' contours similar to and
compatible with the Camp Gary mapping.
1.2.5 Provide property surveys to locate the existing easements, show locations with
widths, recording data, and ties to parent tracts. Provide new parcels with
easements on property along the route as needed.
1.2.6 Provide field surveys of the geotechnical boreholes, furnish locations with
coordinates and elevations.
1,2.7 Stake the centerline alignment with % iron rods at all angle points, PC's, Pt's and
at every 500' station. Surveyor will also provide horizontal and vertical data for each
point, set temporary benchmarks at 2000' intervals along the proposed route, and
provide descriptions and elevations of each.
1.2.8 Locate property and right-of-way lines along IH-35. Surveyor will locate any existing
easements on the property fronting IH-35 which may be platted with usable
easements and determine the number of parcels along IH-35 where the line will be
on private property.
1.3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES
1.3.1 The Surveyor will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's
authorization before initiating any additional services
1.3.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by
2
