<br /> Surveyor must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form <br /> attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be <br /> in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 12.3 of this <br /> Agreement. The approval of the City's governing body is necessary for all additional <br /> services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000, <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The City will: <br /> 2.1 Provide full information to the Surveyor regarding the City's requirements for the <br /> Surveyor's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Surveyor with copies <br /> of data and information in the City's possession needed by the Surveyor at the Surveyor's <br /> request. <br /> 2.2 Designate Stephen Jenkins, Director of Environment and Engineering, as the City's <br /> Project Manager and authorized representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to <br /> this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and information submitted by the <br /> Surveyor and promptly render responses to the Surveyor on issues requiring a decision by <br /> the City. <br /> 2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions forthe Su rveyor to enter public <br /> and private property as required for the Surveyor to perform its services under this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 2.4 The City will bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> ARTICLE 3 <br /> REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES. <br /> 3.1 Reimbursable expenses, including such things as expenses for plotting, <br /> reproduction of documents, auto travel mileage, delivery charges, long distance <br /> communications, and freight, are included in the Surveyor's basic services compensation. <br /> ARTICLE 4 <br /> PAYMENTS TO THE SURVEYOR <br /> 4.1 PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> 4.1.1 Payments for Basic Services will be made to Surveyor monthly following receipt by <br /> City of Surveyor's invoices and appropriate payment requisitions. The amounts of these <br /> invoices will be based upon the extent of work completed by the Surveyor in accordance <br /> with the rates contained in Article 12 of this Agreement, less any disputed amounts, <br /> 3 <br />
