I. 10.4 Deliverables: Summary of Analyses and Findings (MS Word, pdf). <br /> <br />1.11 TASK 10 ~ WATER QUALITY SOURCE ISSUES <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />i. 11.1 Review chemical quality of existing and proposed water sources and summarize in tabular <br />form. <br /> <br />1. I 1.2 Estimate the blending ratios of the various water sources and identify constituents that could <br />have values near or above the regulatory limit. <br /> <br />1.11.3 Evaluate surface and groundwater treatment requirements including potential treatment <br />facility, transmission and storage costs. <br /> <br />I. 11.4 Deliverables: Summary of Analyses and Findings (MS Word, pdf) <br /> <br />1.12 TASK 11 - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN <br /> <br />This task is to provide the City a Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) for the six potential water supply <br />strategies identified in previous tasks. <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.12.1 Summarize six selected strategies from previous tasks based upon cost, environmental <br />impacts, availability and dependability in addition to any criteria identified by the City Council in <br />meeting two. Any critical timing issues associated with a strategy will also be identified. <br /> <br />1.12.2 Develop with the City a system to rank strategies based npon the criteria identified in 1.12.1. <br />Prioritize strategies based upon the ontcome of the raaking system. <br /> <br />1.12.3 Prepare a detailed 1 O-year CIP to facilitate the acquisition and development of the selected <br />water supply sources which will be implemented within the next ten years. The CIP will include: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br />(3) <br /> <br />Estimated project costs including water rights, <br />permitting, design and construction costs; <br />Yearly funding requirements by project; <br />Identification of critical path timing issues. <br /> <br />land/easement acquisitions, <br /> <br />1.12.4 Identify demand trigger points for timely adjustments to the CIP should the City's growth <br />exceed projections. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
