<br /> -S9H <br /> ATTACHMENT A <br /> ADS SCOPE OF WORK <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> A. Mobilization and Project Administration <br /> Upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed, ADS will schedule field personnel, mobilize the <br /> project team and arrange for a formal project kick-off meeting to be held within 10 days <br /> of the Notice to Proceed with the CITY's staff, establishing the lines of communication <br /> and providing iOput regarding historical information as it relates to the current project <br /> scope. A projeèt"schedule will be submitted for review and approval by the CITY at the <br /> kick-off meeting. Preliminary information to be obtained from the CITY may include, but <br /> not be limited to, reports of previous studies, collection system maps, and historical <br /> water usage and treatment plant records. Previous reports will be reviewed to provide <br /> a better understanding of historical conditions in the wastewater collection system. <br /> General Administration . <br /> General administration will include development of internal filing systems for incoming <br /> field data including flow monitoring data, smoke testing results, etc. Periodic project <br /> update meetings with the CITY will be conducted so that the project schedules and <br /> budgets are properly tracked and maintained. <br /> ADS anticipates coordinating the activities of this project and any follow-on results with <br /> other programs currently being undertaken by the CITY. Specifically, the integration of <br /> the City's GIS and management software programs will be considered. Additional <br /> efforts will be dedicated to working with the Operations and Maintenance staff to <br /> facilitate the most cost-efficient solutions to identified problems. Additional Engineering <br /> hours have been estimated for these coordinating efforts and have been included in the <br /> lump sum line item of Phase I on Attachment B. <br /> Project Review and Quality Assurance Program <br /> As part of a quality assurance program, flow monitoring data will be verified through the <br /> use of insitu field hydraulic calibrations using independent equipment. Velocity profiles <br /> of each flow monitoring location will be undertaken to verify site hydraulics. During the <br /> course of the project, data collected by the flow meters will be compared to manual <br /> readings taken by ADS personnel at each site.
