The City Council of the City shall adopt a resolution on or before <br />September 8,1997, appointing presiding judges and alternate judges to serve in this <br />election, and it shall be each such judge's duty to hold the election in their respective <br />precincts, and any vacancies occurring after the initial appointment may be filled by <br />subsequent resolution(s) of the City Council. <br />SECTION 6. Each presiding judge may appoint up to two (2) clerks, and with the <br />permission of the City Secretary, additional cl~rks, to serve for each precinct in this <br />election. <br />SECTION 7. The precincts numbered 111, 112, 113, 114, 116, 120,330,334,336, <br />445/451 and 446 shall be polling places for the Special City election. <br />SECTION 8. The City election shall be conducted jointly with Hays County under <br />the terms and conditions of a Joint Election Agreement. <br />SECTION 9. Janis K. Womack is appointed clerk for early voting for the City. <br />SECTION 10. The main early polling place for early voting by personal <br />appearance for the Special City election is City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street in the City, <br />and the temporary branch early polling place for early voting by personal appearance <br />for the Special City election is the Hays County Election Administrator's Office, 401-C <br />Broadway. Early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted during normal working <br />days in the City Hall and Hays County Election Administrator's Office from 8:00 a.m. to <br />5:00 p.m. from October 20, 1997 through October 31, 1997. Early voting by personal <br />appearance shall also be conducted during normal working days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br />p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 101 S. Burleson, Kyle, Texas on October 20, 1997 and October 27, <br />1997; at Dripping Springs City Hall, 402 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas on October <br />21,1997 and October 28,1997; at Wimberley ISD Administrative Office, 14401 Ranch Rd. <br />12, Wimberley, Texas on October 23,1997 and October 30, 1997 and at Buda City Hall, <br />121 North Main Street, Buda, Texas on October 24, 1997 and October 31, 1997. <br />SECTION 11. Early voting by mail ballot shall be conducted in accordance with <br />applicable provisions of the Texas Election Code. The address of 630 East Hopkins, <br />San Marcos, Texas, 78666, shall be the early voting clerk's mailing address to which <br />ballot applications and ballots voted by mail may be sent for the City. <br />SECTION 12. All early votes and other votes to be processed in accordance with <br />early voting procedures pursuant to the Texas Election Code shall be delivered to the <br />
