EXHIBIT B PAGE 1 OF 2 CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS WASTEWATERRATE--SCHEDULE US-I (Urban Customers) Applicable: To any customer using wastewater services and being served through a single water meter, unless wastewater is separately measured, and within the corporate limits of the City. Service will be furnished under this rate schedule subject to the established rules and regulations of the City covering this type of service. Rate: US-IA:5/8-3/4 Inch Water Meter: First 2,000 gallons - $16.12 Minimum Bill. Over 2,000 gallons - $4.64 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. US-lB: I-Inch Water Meter: First 4,000 gallons - $32.19 Minimum Bill. Over 4,000 gallons - $4.64 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. US-IC: 1-1/2 Inch Water Meter: First 8,000 gallons - $64.37 Minimum Bill. Over 8,000 gallons - $4.64 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. US-1D: 2-lnch Water Meter and greater: First 13,000 gallons - $103.00 Minimum Bill. Over 13,000 gallons - $4.64 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. Maximum Bill: No additional charge will be applied to a single-family Residential Customers for volumes in excess of 8,000 gallons for the US-lA, US-lB, US-I C rate categories, nor for volumes in excess of 13,000 gallons for the US-1D rate category. Single Point of Delivery: The above rates are based upon the supply of water to the entire premises through a single delivery and metering point. A separate supply of water for the same consumer at other points of consumption shall be separately metered and billed. Optional Methodology for Measurement of Use by Industrial Users: An industrial user that uses a 2-inch or larger meter may submit a written request for the use of a methodology to determine the amount of wastewater services used other than metering of water or wastewater use. The methodology must be designed to charge the user for actual wastewater service use, and is subject to approval by the Director of Public Works. If approved, the methodology will be used for a period of three years, subject to renewal upon submi~sion by the user of a renewal request accompanied by updated methodology information, and approval by the Director of Public Works. For this purpose, "industrial user" is defmed as a manufacturing or industrial operation.
