<br /> 5(S <br /> Attachment A to <br /> Contract for Engineering Services <br /> Owner: City of San Marcos <br /> Project: Sludge Processing and Disposal Facilities <br /> The scope of services for the sludge processing and disposal facilities project is <br /> set forth below. <br /> Task 1.0 - Project Management <br /> Task 1 includes Project Management activities for the preliminary phases of the <br /> project (Tasks 2 through 5). The Scope of Services of project management <br /> activities for final design, construction, and post-construction services (Tasks 6 <br /> through 8), will be developed after the completion of Task 2 (Preliminary <br /> Design). <br /> 1.1 General Administration <br /> Perform general administrative duties associated \'lith the Project during <br /> Tasks 2 through 5, including progress monitoring, schetluling, general <br /> correspondence, office administration, and invoicing. These duties include <br /> maintaining day-to-day contact and liaison with the Owner, Construction <br /> Manager, and project staff; ensuring the needs of the O\vner are met in a <br /> timely maImer; providing project communication; monitoring work on the <br /> project; and ensuring that the work is executed in accordance with the work <br /> plan, budget, and schedule. <br /> 1.2 Meetings and Workshops <br /> ! Participate in the following meetir¡.gs and conduct workshops to review <br /> I progress and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. <br /> 1) Conduct a project initiation meeting to clarify the Owner's and <br /> Construction Manager's (CM) requirements for the project; review <br /> available data, project organization, staffing, and establish lines of <br /> communication; present initial work plan; and project schedule. <br /> 2) Participate in progress meetings with the Owner and CM during Tasks 2 <br /> through 5 to review progress and exchange ideas and information. A <br /> total of 6 meetings are anticipated with each meeting jointly covering <br /> applicable issues of each task. <br /> 3) Conduct two workshops with the Owner and CM.
