Amend the first three sentences of Section 6.07 as follows: <br /> The people of the city reserve the power to recall any elected officer of the City of <br /> San Marcos and may exercise such power by filing with the city secretary a petition <br /> demanding the removal of the officer, signed by at least ten (10) per cent of the <br /> qualified voters of the city demanding the removal of such elected officer. The recall <br /> petition required for the recall of any elected official shall be provided only by the <br /> city secretary and 3hall include spaces for each person to 3ign their name and <br /> provide their name in printed fDrm, their re3idence addre3s, and their voter <br /> regi3tration number. Amend Section 7.02 regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission as follows: <br /> Members shall be appointed for a three-year term with approximately one-third to <br /> be appointed each year on a continuing basis. <br /> Since the number of members of the Commission is determined by ordinance rather than <br /> in the Charter, this change will provide some flexibility in case the number of members is <br /> not divisible by three. <br />
