7)£ -6- PROPOSITION NO.2 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.03 of the City Charter, regarding the city council acting as judge of election and qualifications of City officials, to delete unnecessary wording. PROPOSITION NO.3 - FOR/AGAINST The amendment of the first sentence of Section 3.05 of the City Charter to provide for the mayor to be principal liaison between the city council and the city attorney, city secretary and municipal court judge as well as with the city manager. . . PROPOSITION NO.4 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.06(a) of the City Charter to broaden the reference to state law for elections to fill vacancies on the city council. PROPOSITION NO.5 ~ FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.17(b) of the City Charter to delete unnecessary wording regarding city council authority to remove appointed officials of the City. PROPOSITION NO.6 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Sections 6.05 and 6,06 of the City Charter to establish a deadline for city council action to call an election on an initiative ordinance, and to provide for separate voter consideration of an initiative ordinance and an alternative ordinance proposed by the city council. PROPOSITION NO.7 , FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 6.07 of the City Charter to clarify the requirements for recall petitions and to conform the section to State Election Code provisions. PROPOSITION NO.8 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 7.02 of the City Charter to provide for approximately 1/3 of the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be appointed each year.
