<br /> I 7/11l <br /> - <br /> Definitions: <br /> (1) "Landscape watering" means the appli<;ation of water to gro\v landscaping plants. <br /> (2) "Landscape plant" means any plant including any tree, shrub, vine, herb, flower, <br /> succulent, groundcover or grass species, that is used for landscaping purposes or for the <br /> support of recreational areas such as playgrounds and playing fields. ' <br /> (3) "New landscaping plant" means a landscaping plant planted during any current water <br /> conservation plan stage. When the stage is rescinded, the new landscaping plant will be <br /> treated thereafter as an existing landscaping plant. <br /> (4) "Hand-held hose" means a hose attended by one person, fitted with a manual or <br /> automatic shutoff nozzle. <br /> (5) "Bucket" means bucket or other container holding five gallons or less, used singly by one <br /> person. <br /> (6) Where a water use restriction calls for use only once everý se\'en (7) days, or only on <br /> designated days, the follo\ving system shall apply to determine the "day" \vithin each <br /> calendar week that the use is permitted: < <br /> Buildings and premises with even-numbered addresses -- Tuesdays only beginning at <br /> 7:00 p.m. and ending Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. <br /> Buildings and premises with odd-numbered addresses-- Thursdays only beginning at 7:00 - <br /> p.m. and ending Fridays at 8:00 a.m. <br /> (7) "Existing landscape plant" means a landscaping plant planted during any period for <br /> which a water conservation plan stage has' not been declared or during a stage which has <br /> been rescinded. <br /> (8) "New facility" means a swimming pool, hot tub or any similar facility, including <br /> residential and private facilities, installed during any' current water conservation plan <br /> stage. When the stage is rescinded, the ne\v facility will be treated thereafter as an <br /> existing facility. This term does not include wading pools or pools specifically <br /> maintained to provide habitat for aquatic life. <br /> (9) "Existing facility" means a swimming pool, hot tub or any similar facility, including <br /> residential and private facilities, installed during any period for which a water <br /> conservation plan stage has not been declared or during a stage which has been rescinded. -- <br /> This term does not include pools specitìcally maintained to provide habitat for aquatic <br /> life. <br /> E-li <br />
