qq/) I
PART V, PAGE 3 - PROJECT LOCATION
-
ATTACH\:1ENT 1 - PROJECT LOCATION. A map of the project and the project location must
be furnished. Additionally, the interiors of buildings proposed for renovation must include a sketch
showing current and proposed floor plans and the function of each room on each floor. The hiring
of professional consultants to execute the map or plans is not required. Sketch maps and plans are
acceptable.
Photographs should be included in the nomination. Photographs can supplement maps and site plans
and can document project locations, ground contours, and existing condition of buildings. Drawings
superimposed on photographs can be used to illustrate types of work to be performed. Large
numbers of photographs are not required. Clear Xerox copies of photographs are acceptable.
Project Length. Indicate the length of the project from endpoint to endpoint delineated in metric
measurements.
PART VI, PAGE 3 - ELIGIBLE CATEGORIES
The ten categories of projects are discussed in the program guide. To be considered eligible, a
project must fit into at least one of these ten categories.
PART VII, PAGE 4 - PROJECT DESCRIPTION .
The description should consist of no more than one page of single-spaced text. Please be as clear
and concise as possible. An accurate description of planned activities is the most important element
of the nomination package. Inaccurate or ambiguous explanations will adversely affect the
processing and evaluation of the candidate project. In addition, a lack of specific d~tail regarding
planning may detrimentally affect considerations of eligibility and TEPEC evaluation. Where
appropriate, the metric system must be used to indicate lengths and widths of various projects,
construction specifications, or in describing land to be acquired for rights-of-way. English
measurements can be used for restoration and revitalization of historic buildings and structures.
.
For projects proposing the acquisition, restoration, or rehabilitation of historic sites or properties,
documentary evidence must be included in the nomination that the property or site is listed in or
determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
PART VIII, PAGE 5 - PROJECT USE AND BENEFITS
In the space provided on page 5 of the nomination form, give a clear and concise descr'iption of the
benefits of the project in terms of the quality of the project, the geographic scope of the project's
benefits, and the project's transportation enhancement value. Based on these criteria, TEPEC
will prepare recommendations for funding.
Statewide 7ì-allsporta/ioll ¡~ì7hallcemen/ Program Page AS
