The project must be limited to a logical unit of work and must be capable of being completed within a reasonable amount of time as determined by TxDOT in consultation with the nominating and sponsoring entities. Land or right-of-way utilized for the project must be acquired in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of] 970, the Surface Transportation and Uniform Real Property Acquisition Act of] 987, and other applicable state and federal laws. Even ifland has already been acquired and reimbursement is not requested, this previous acquisition must still comply with all state and federal laws.
