1.2.14 Prepare five copies of a TM that details the findings, options and recommendations of the <br />odor control assessment and present/discuss the TM during Progress Meeting No. 1. Based on input <br />fi'om the City, the Engineer will finalize the TM to include recommended improvements. The <br />Engineer will present/discuss the final TM during Progress Meeting No. 2. The Engineer will <br />provide the TM in digital format (.pdf or .doc). <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - OPERATIONAL WWTP ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Engineer's <br />representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the schedule and parameters <br />for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all Proj eot participants must perform, <br />and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. <br />Based on this information, the Engineer will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project <br />addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all <br />project participants. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Perform an operational WWTP assessment in association with the City to determine if <br />process improvements are possible and characterize the operational performance of the WWTP. As <br />a part of this task the Engineer will review operational and performance records, conduct field <br />inspection and interviews with City staff. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Address the following key issues: <br /> <br />a. Modification of operation procedure to avoid new construction or minimize existing <br /> operating issues. <br />b. Appropriate staffing and training levels. <br />c. Operational needs, if Biological Nitrogen Removal ("BNR") is required. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Conduct one site visit to perform staff interviews. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Collect data and perform analyses. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Perform an operations evaluation. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Perform a preliminary assessment to identify potential areas of improvement for the City's <br />review and approval. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Perform a final assessment. <br /> <br />1.3.8. Prepare five copies ora TM that identifies potential improvements and present/discuss TM <br />during Progress Meeting No. 1.
