The Engineer will provide the TM in digital format (.pdf or .doc). <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - SCADA SYSTEM AND INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS (I&C) <br /> SYSTEM INTEGRATION <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Review the four WWTP Programmable Logic Control ("PLC") systems, and the top-end <br />systems of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant to determine the possibility of system <br />integration and cost. The Engineer will also evaluate preliminary cost estimates, risks, software <br />options, and delivery methods. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Address the following key issues: <br /> <br />a. Integration of the four existing systems and associated costs. <br />b. Syncka'onization of all Water and Wastewater systems and allowance for central <br /> monitoring and control. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Perform one site visit including staff interviews <br /> <br />1.4.4 Evaluate areas currently not monitored for addition of I&C. <br /> <br />1.4.5 Perform a system configuration and integration evaluation. <br /> <br />1.4.6 Perform a preliminary assessment identifying potential areas for improvements for City <br />review. <br /> <br />1.4.7 Perform a final assessment. <br /> <br />1.4.8 Prepare five copies of a TM that identifies potential SCADA/I&C improvements and <br />present/discuss the TM during Progress Meeting No. 1. Based on input fi'om the City, the Engineer <br />will finalize the TM to include recommended improvements. The Engineer wilI present/discuss the <br />final TM during Progress Meeting No. 2. The Engineer will provide the TM in digital format (.pdf <br />or .doc). <br /> <br />1.5 TASK 4 - WWTP LIQUID STREAM ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.5.1 Perform a WWTP Liquid Stremn Assessment, to include a field inspection detailing the general <br />condition of major equipment, a data analysis of the last two years of operations, the development <br />of a process model, off-gas testing of the aeration basin to determine efficiency, assessment of BNR <br /> <br />CH2M Hill. 2.wpd 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
