<br /> 106 <br /> ~ <br /> - <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- 110 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE GROUP <br /> BENEFITS RISK POOL FOR EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE <br /> AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City has solicited bids for the purchase of employee health insurance <br /> and administrative services in IFB 96-041. <br /> 2. The Texas Municipal League Group Benefits Risk Pool (TMLGBRP) has <br /> submitted the lowest responsible bid for these services. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:' <br /> PART 1. The City Manager and City Attorney are authorized to negotiate <br /> interlocal agreements with the TMLGBRP for employee health insurance and <br /> administrative services for the period of August 1,1996 to July 31,1997, in an amount not <br /> to exceed $1,300,000, subject to renewal for 4 subsequent one-year periods. <br /> PART 2. The the City Manager is authorized to execute the interlocal <br /> agreements with the TMLCBRP described in Part 1 above. <br /> PART 3.
