Develop determinations for <br /> the level of Americans with Disabilities Act compatibility with the City staff as well as the <br /> need for air scrubbing facilities for any compressed chlorine or ammonia gas stored on- <br /> site. Determine necessary development reviews, platting, site development plans, and/or <br /> zoning modifications which the City may require. <br /> 1.2.23 Evaluate installing sludge dewatering equipment and a septic tank system initially <br /> in lieu of extending the CITY's wastewater collection system to the plant. <br /> 1.2.24 Prepare and submit a Draft Technical Memorandum for CITY and Program <br /> Manager review, and a Final Technical Memorandum describing the results of this <br /> evaluation. <br /> Preliminary Plant Operations Plan <br /> 1.2.25 Develop a preliminary operation plan for the water treatment plant with <br /> recommended staffing requirements and opinions of operating budgets. <br /> . <br /> Plant and System-Wide Instrumentation and Control Strategies <br /> 1.2.26 Develop an overall instrumentation and control strategy for both the treatment plant <br /> and the water distribution system. As an alternative, a new system- can be installed to continue to allow <br /> automatic control of pumps based on tank levels but with manual override from the <br /> treatment plant. Evaluate coordinating the SCADA system at the wastewater treatment <br /> plant with the water treatment plant system. <br /> 1.2.27 Prepare and submit a Draft Technical Memorandum for CITY and Program <br /> Manager review, and a Final Technical Memorandum describing the res~lts of the <br /> evaluation. <br /> Comprehensive Water Distribution System Evaluation <br /> 1.2.28 Perform a complete comprehensive water distribution system evaluation in <br /> conjunction with evaluating the impact of the new water treatment plant on the water <br /> 6 <br />
