<br /> 94 <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- - 140 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO THE INTERLOCAL <br /> AGREEMENT BE1WEEN THE CITY AND THE GUADALUPE- BLANCO <br /> RIVER AUTHORITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REGIONAL <br /> SURFACE WATER PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THIS AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY' AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On April 23, 1996 the City of San Marcos entered into an Interlocal <br /> Agreement with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority for the development of a regional <br /> surface water project. <br /> 2. Both parties wish to amend the agreement to extend the term of the <br /> agreement until December 31, 1996. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> . <br /> PART 1. The attached Amendment No.1 to the Interlocal Agreement between the <br /> City and the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
