<br /> 86 <br /> STATE OF TEXAS - <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> RECYCLING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement is made between the CITY OF SAN MARCOS, 630 East Hopkins, <br /> San Marcos, Texas (the "CITY") and Kyle Hahn, d/b/a GREEN GUY RECYCLING <br /> SERVICES, 937 Highway 80, San Marcos Texas, 78666 (the "CONTRACTOR"). <br /> I <br /> 1. AGREEMENTS BY THE CONTRACTOR <br /> (A) CONTRACTOR agrees to provide appropriate supervision, materials, equipment, <br /> and labor in its provision of recycling services for the CITY as follows: <br /> CONTRACTOR will: <br /> 1. Continue to accept all types of paper and cardboard, tires, oil and <br /> filters, scrap metal and white goods, glass, freon bearing appliances, <br /> certain types of plastic, non ferrous metals, styrofoam peanuts, and <br /> paint and aerosol cans at its public recycling drop-off center located <br /> behind the old Wal-Mart store at 937 Highway 80. CONTRACTOR <br /> . <br /> will maintain hours of at least 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday <br /> through Saturday. <br /> 2. Provide appropriate receptacles at City facilities for the acceptance of <br /> recyclable materials listed above that are generated by City <br /> operations in the number required by the CITY. <br /> 3. Perform pick-up of cardboard and paper materials once per week <br /> from City facilities based on a schedule approved by the CITY. <br /> I 4. Provide recyclable materials handling and disposal services at <br /> neighborhood or river clean-ups upon City request within the City <br /> limits at 25% of the fair market value for roll-off container disposal <br /> services. <br /> 5. Be responsible for the marketing and/or disposal of all recyclable <br /> materials received by CONTRACTOR in accordance with' all <br /> applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. <br /> 6. Ensure that all buildings, facilities, grounds, vehicles and equipment <br /> used in the performance of these services are kept in good repair and <br /> appearance and in sanitary condition. In this regard, CONTRACTOR <br /> will police the grounds once each day to collect and dispose of loose <br /> and wind-blown recyclable materials. <br />
