<br /> IIQ/J <br /> 2.8 Direct the ARCHITECT to perform any additional services necessary to complete <br /> the Project or will furnish those services itself. <br /> 2.9 The CITY will bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> 2.10 Provide its standard construction contract documents, which do not include plans <br /> or technical specifications, to the ARCHITECT prior to commencement of the design <br /> development phase, Subsection 1.3.1. <br /> 2.11 Require.the submission by the Contractor and subcontractors performing work on <br /> the Project sites, of periodic wage rate payment reports and, assist the ARCHITECT in <br /> verifying compliance with federal wage rate requirements for the Project; and notify the City <br /> of any noncompliance, or of failure by the Contractor or subcontractors to make <br /> submissions. <br /> 2.12 Provide building space suitable for use as an office, the storage of records, <br /> drawings, files, samples, Contractor submittals and other work related material until 30 <br /> days following completion of the Project in the event that the CITY requires resident <br /> inspection services to be performed on the Project. The space will be air conditioned and <br /> will be in proximity to the Project location. <br /> 2.13 Require Contractor to post all notices and information, requi~ed and provided by <br /> HUD, in the appropriate Project sites. <br /> ARTICLE 3 <br /> CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> 3.1 DEFINITION <br /> 3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the CITY of all <br /> elements of the Project designed or specified by the ARCHITECT. <br /> 3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable <br /> allowance for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, <br /> specified, selected or specially provided for by the ARCHITECT, except that used materials <br /> and equipment will be included as if purchased new for the Project. <br /> 3.1.3 Construction cost does not include the compensation of the ARCHITECT and the <br /> ARCHITECT's consultants, or other costs which are the responsibility of the CITY as <br /> provided in Article 2. <br /> 3.2 RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> 3.2.1 Evaluations of the CITY's Project budget and detailed cost estimates, if any, <br /> 9 <br />
