<br /> ¡/Off <br /> Authorization of Additional Services form attaehed to this Agreement as Exhibit A. <br /> Compensation will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services, in accordance with <br /> Section 13.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the CITY's governing body is necessary <br /> for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. Additional <br /> services will include resident project representation beyond that provided as a part of Basic <br /> Services. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The CITY will: <br /> 2.1 Provide full information to the ARCHITECT regarding requirements for the Project. <br /> Such information will include the CITY's design objectives, constraints and criteria, <br /> including space requirements and relationships, flexibility and expand ability and special <br /> equipment and systems, copies of its ADA survey, site grading information, existing utility <br /> locations and site plans of the buildings identified in subsection 1.2.2 of this Agreement. <br /> 2.2 Provide a budget for the Project which will include contingencies for bidding, <br /> changes in the work during construction, and other costs which are the responsibility of the <br /> CITY, including those described in this Article 2 and in Subsection 3.1.2. The ARCHITECT <br /> will accept the CITY's authorization to bid the Project as evidence tha~ arrangements exist <br /> for the fulfillment of the financial obligations assumed by the CITY hereunder. <br /> 2.3 Designate a representative to act in the CITY's behalf with respect to the Project. <br /> The CITY and/or such authorizes representative will examine the documents submitted by <br /> the ARCHITECT and will render responses pertaining thereto promptly and provide the <br /> ARCHITECT with the requested data or information in CITY's possession relating to the <br /> Project. <br /> 2.4 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the ARCHITECT to enter <br /> public and private property as required for the ARCHITECT to perform its services under <br /> this Agreement. <br /> 2.5 Furnish all legal, accounting and insurance counseling services as may be <br /> necessary at any time for the Project, including such auditing services as the CITY may <br /> require to ascertain how or for what purposes the Contractor used the money paid by or <br /> on behalf of the CITY. <br /> 2.6 Furnish required information and services and will render responses and conduct <br /> its review of written materials as expeditiously as possible. <br /> 2.7 Pay all costs incident to obtaining bids or proposals from Contractors (e.g., legal <br /> notice requirements and the provision of the City facilities for pre-bid conferences). <br /> 8 <br />
