<br /> I 7'fl ¡}- <br /> -2- <br />Sec. 16-5. Possessing or shooting spear guns in San Marcos River. <br />(a) It is unlawful for any person to possess or shoot a spear gun while in or <br />upon the San Marcos River. <br />(b) In this section, "spear gun" means any type of device used for <br />propelling a spear or any other type of projectile through water as a means of <br />shooting or taking fish, <br />Sec. 1.6.-6. Restrictions on activities on bridges crossing San Marcos <br /> River. <br />(a) It is unlawful for a person to jump or dive into the San Marcos River from <br />any bridge crossing the river, <br />(b) It is unlawful for a person to stop and stand upon any railroad bridge <br />crossing the San Marcos River, ' <br />(c) This section does not affect the enforcement of laws prohibiting criminal <br />trespass on privately owned bridges. <br />Sec. 16-7. Purchase of documents. <br />Fees for purchase of documents from the city are set by separate ordinance. <br />Sec. 16-8. Placement of advertisements, handbills, etc., on vacant <br /> buildings prohibited. <br />(a) It is unlawful for a person to attach or cause to be attached any <br />advertisement or other printed matter to any vacant building or vacant portion of <br />a building. <br />(b) There is a rebuttable presumption, in the prosecution of cases for <br />violation of this section, that the primary beneficiary of any advertisement or <br />other printed matter caused it to be attached to a building, In this section, the <br />term "primary beneficiary" means the person whose goods, services, activity, or <br />identity is advertised by the posting. <br />(c) This section does not apply to an advertisement regarding the sale or <br />lease of the building to which it is attached, an official governmental notice, a <br />notice regarding the relocation of a previous occupant of the building, or a notice <br />prohibiting soliciting or trespassing, <br />(d) The city manager may remove or cause to be removed any <br />advertisement or other printed matter attached to any building in violation of this <br />section. <br />Sec. 16-9 through 16-19.
