<br /> /qt <br />wooden in construction attaching the original building to a <br />metal warehouse added as an addition to the enclosed garage. <br /> The structure was unoccupied at the time of the alarm <br />and had no general furniture and personal items inside. <br />There was an approximate 15% fire loss on this structure. <br /> The owner of the structure: <br />I TP Gilmore Enterprises <br /> 100 w. San Antonio <br /> San Marcos, Texas <br /> Terry Gilmore <br /> Contact: 512-353-7005 <br />Owner Gilmore was contacted at home by employee of Justin's <br />hair salon and advised of the fire. Gilmore arrived on the <br />scene at 07:30. <br /> Insurance information was obtained the morning after <br />the fire incident. <br /> Insurance carrier: <br /> Miller Insurance Group <br /> Holder of Account: <br /> Policy number: <br /> Policy date: Binder <br /> Coverage: fire and extended wind storm <br /> Local Agent: Joel Roberts <br /> San Marcos, Texas 78666 <br /> Adjuster: <br />THE FIRE <br /> The fire was discovered and reported by neighbor <br />Stevens. Stevens stated that he heard a "boom" and heard <br />glass breaking. Stevens ran to his window to investigate and <br />saw smoke coming from all the windows. Stevens observed <br />three juvenile Hispanic males riding bikes from the area <br />down Feltner alley. Upon the arrival of the first fire unit, <br />the fire was only involved in the rear veranda. <br /> The passage door at the west side of the structure was <br />unsecured. To holes pre-existed in the warehouse area that <br />aided in access. Windows in the structure appeared to be <br />broken to the street area which helped ventilate the fire. <br />The fire reached only the second floor and attic area inside <br />the structure causing a substantial loss. <br />THE INVESTIGATION <br /> Investigators were notified of the alarm by pager with <br />the arrival of Fire Marshal by 06: 17. Fire scene security <br />was handled by Fire Marshal and Sgt. Byron Mobley until fire <br />was under control. At this time, the security was turned <br />over to Fire Marshal who taped and protected all areas of <br />
