Stevens stated that he heard a "boom" and heard <br />glass breaking. Stevens ran to his window to investigate and <br />saw smoke coming from all the windows. Stevens observed <br />three juvenile Hispanic males riding bikes from the area <br />down Feltner alley. Upon the arrival of the first fire unit, <br />the fire was only involved in the rear veranda. <br /> The passage door at the west side of the structure was <br />unsecured. To holes pre-existed in the warehouse area that <br />aided in access. Windows in the structure appeared to be <br />broken to the street area which helped ventilate the fire. <br />The fire reached only the second floor and attic area inside <br />the structure causing a substantial loss. <br />THE INVESTIGATION <br /> Investigators were notified of the alarm by pager with <br />the arrival of Fire Marshal by 06: 17. Fire scene security <br />was handled by Fire Marshal and Sgt. Byron Mobley until fire <br />was under control. At this time, the security was turned <br />over to Fire Marshal who taped and protected all areas of <br />
