2t{~ shall be used for working capital and Forty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-five and No/1 00 Dollars ($46,835) shall be used to purchase machinery and equipment. Contractor shall ensure that Hays County injects Thirty Thousand and No/1oo Qojlars ($30,000) in cash to be used for working capital and Eight Thousand and No/1 00 ~Iars ($8,000) in assistance to the Sponsor and incubator tenants. Contractor shall ensure that the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council injects Fifteen Thousand and No/1oo Dollars ($15,000) in cash and Seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty- three and No/1 00 Dollars ($7,253) of staff time to provide assistance to the Sponsor and incubator tenants. Contractor shall ensure that Southwest Texas University injects Fifty-one Thousand Four Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($51,400) as follows: Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000) for use 011adlities and equipment; Thirty Thousand and No/1oo Dollars ($30.000) for faculty consulting time to incubator tenants and Sixty-four Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($6,400) to provide for a student intern. Contractor shall ensure that Gary Job Corps provides administrative personnel valued at Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($14,580) to the incubator. Contractor shall ensure that the Small Business Development Center's contributes counselling services valued at Twenty-three Thousand Four Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($23,400) to incubator tenants. Contractor shall ensure that one hundred sixty-seven (167) hours of legal and accounting assistance are provided to incubator tenants valued at a minimum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-five and No/100 Dollars ($18,395) based 00 an average hourty rate of One Hundred Ten and No/100 Dollars ($110). Contractor shall provide to Department, upon request, evidence that project funds, both private and contract, were expended as specified in this EXHIBIT A and in EXHIBIT B 01 this contract. Enqineerinq Contractor shall utilize Twenty-six Thousand Four Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($26,400) of contract funds to pay for all eligible project-related engineering and architectural services, including preliminary and final design plans and specifications. all interim and final inspections, and all special sefV1ces. Administration Contractor shall utilize Thirty-four Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($34,000) of contract funds to carry out project administration activities, including the cost associated with the required program fiscal and compliance audit. Proiect Outcomes As a result of this project, Contractor shall ensure that the San Marcos Industria! Foundation establishes and operates a small business incubator for a period of five years from the date of this contract. Further, Contractor shall eliminate slum and blight on a spot basis prior to the expiration date of this contract.
