<br /> III <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 -75R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> OFFICE PROFESSIONAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A 3.45 <br /> ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY lOCATED AT 1221 THORPE <br /> LANE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On March 14, 1995 the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Plan from Office Professional to Commercial for a 3.45 acre tract of property <br />located at 1221 Thorpe Lane. <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on March 14, <br />1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the request <br />be approved by the City Council of the City. <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 24th day of Apri 1 , <br />1995, regarding the request. < <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br />5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br />shown on the Future land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Office <br />Professional shall be shown on that map as Commercial: <br /> Street address: 1221 Thorpe lane. <br /> Size: 3.45 acres <br /> Legal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 135, page 34 of the Deed Records of Hays <br /> County, Texas. <br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage. <br />ADOPTED this 24th day of April ,1995. <br /> l~rr~ .
