12ltA II YVIL1EL The Building Electrical Earth Ground is defined as the ground bar in the main service panel. This ground bar has a direct connection (not by way of conduit) to the building ground plane or ground rod(s). This is also the ground bar that is bonded to the neutral bus. In the case of a dedicated transformer serving the Equipment Room Panel (and only the Equipment Room Panel), the Building electrical Earth Ground is defined as the neutral post of the transformer; however, this neutral post must be connected directly to a low impedance (less than 3 OHMS) ground source such as ground rod(s) or building ground plane. r CAUTION: Direct connection to building structural steel for an SL-l system ground source is to be avoided.
