<br /> 12 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 129 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE CAPITAL AREA RURAL <br /> TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF <br /> TRANSIT SYSTEM SIGNS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> - <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The Capital Area Rural Transit System <br /> (nCARTS") desires to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with <br /> the City of San Marcos for the City's maintenance of transit <br /> system signs. <br /> 2. The interlocal agreement is entered into <br /> pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Actl Chapter 791 of <br /> the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the interlocal agreement between the <br /> City and CARTS for the City/s maintenance of transit system <br /> signs, a copy of which is attached to and incorporated in <br /> this Resolution, is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager I Larry D. Gilley, <br /> is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
