<br /> .~ 13 <br /> .. ," - <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> FOR MAINTENANCE OF SIGNS <br /> -- <br /> I State of Texas <br /> r <br /> County of Hays <br /> The City of San Marcos ("City") and the Capital Area <br /> Rural Transportation System ( II CARTS ") enter into this <br /> Interlocal Agreement under the authority of the Interlocal <br /> Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as <br /> amended, in~onnection with the maintenance of transit system <br /> signage. <br /> 1. Services. Services to be provided under this agreement <br /> are as follows: <br /> (a) The City will provide equipment, labor and <br /> materials necessary for the maintenance. of Ci\RTS I <br /> existing transit system signs. Maintenance will be <br /> performed upon the City's receipt of a request from <br /> CARTS. The City will not be responsible for <br /> providing signs or poles. <br /> (b) CARTS will provide the City with all replacement <br /> signs and poles. <br /> 2. Compensation. <br /> -' <br /> f . <br /> ¡ CARTS will the City for. the actual cost of the <br /> . pay <br /> \ maintenance work performed by the City plus an additional 10% <br /> on each invoice as an administrative fee. Payment will be <br /> made to the City wi thin 15 days of CARTS I receipt of an <br /> invoice from City. <br /> 3. Miscellaneous. <br /> (a) Either party may terminate this agreement by giving <br /> 15 days advance written notice to the other party. <br /> (b) Each party to this agreement will pay for its <br /> performance of functions or services under this agreement <br /> from current revenues available to it. <br />
