<br /> IL/1 <br /> Cemetery Commission <br /> Purpose <br /> <br /> This commission acts as a community liaison in matters regarding the San Marcos Cemetery. <br /> Membership <br /> <br /> The Cemetery Commission consists of seven citizens of the City of San Marcos. <br /> Typical Duties <br /> <br /> - Provide a comprehensive yearly progress report to the City Council. <br /> - Recommend budget funding including special projects, capital improvements and <br /> research projects for the cemetery. <br /> - Monitor contract maintenance or contract violations. <br /> - Act as stewards for the preservation and on-going cemetery operation. <br /> Staff Support <br /> <br /> Director of Parks and Recreation <br /> Time Commitment <br /> The term for this commission is two years.
