<br /> /Lfff <br /> Airport Commission <br /> Purpose <br /> <br /> The purpose of the Airport Commission is to provide advise and recommend to the City <br /> Council in matters regarding the operation and improvements of the San Marcos Municipal <br /> Airport. <br /> Membership <br /> <br /> The Commission consists of seven members. Two members may be non residents of the City. <br /> All other residents must be residents of the City. <br /> Typical Duties' <br /> <br /> 8 Advise the Council in the selection of all fixed base operations and leases located at the <br /> Airport. <br /> 8 Recommend terms, conditions and considerations in leases on the airport. <br /> l <br /> 8 Make recommendations affecting management of the Airport. <br /> 8 Recruit and promote interest in commercial development of the Airport. <br /> 8 Plan and develop airport services and expansion. <br /> 8 Recommend operating budget to the City Manager. <br /> 8 Submits annual report to City Council on review of Aiport lessees. <br /> Staff Support Airport Director <br /> <br /> Time Commitment <br /> Members serve a two year term.
