MAIN MOTION: the City Council voted five (5) for, one (1) absent, Council Member Thomaides, one (1) abstained, Council Member Prather, and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2012 -52. The motion carried. (10) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council Member Thomason, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent, Council Member Thomaides, and none (0) opposed, to approve Resolution 2012 -154R, as previously captioned. The motion carried. (13) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council Member Scott, the City Council voted five (5) for, one (1) absent, Council Member Thomaides, and one (1) opposed, Council Member Scott, to approve the appointments as previously captioned. Public Hearing 14.7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2012 -54, approving the abandonment of a 445 x 50 section of Rush Haven between Golden Shadow and Morning Shadow, Morning Shadow between Newberry Trail and Trestle Tree consisting of a total of 643 feet and of a width varying from 50 feet to 80 feet, and a 50 x 84 section of Trestle Tree adjacent to Morning Shadow; approving the conveyance of the portions of these streets to the owner or owners of property abutting the streets subiect to a reservation of a public utilitv easement; authorizing the City Manager to execute one or more quitclaim deeds to such abutting owners; and declaring an effective date; and consider approval of Ordinance 2012 -54.
