Thomason and a second by Council Member Prather, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) <br />absent, Council Member Thomaides, and none (0) opposed, to amend by removing section 6.1.2 <br />and section 7.1.2. The motion carried. MAIN MOTION: the City Council voted six (6) for, one <br />(1) absent, Council Member Thomaides, and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2012 -50 as <br />previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />22.Consider approval of Ordinance 2012 -57, on the first of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2012 -2013 Budget to budget expenditures in the total sum of $17,505.00 from <br />State Seized Asset Funds to purchase Net Motion software for the Police Department <br />Mobile Data Terminals in Police and Fire vehicles; and providing an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council Member <br />Scott, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent, Council Member Thomaides, and none <br />(0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2012 -57, as previously captioned.. The motion carried. <br />23.Consider approval of Resolution 2012 -159R, approving an extension of the letter of <br />intent with the Lower Colorado River Authority in order to complete negotiation of an <br />agreement for the City's financial participation in the Thomas C. Ferguson <br />Replacement Power Plant; authorizing the City Manager to execute the extension <br />document, and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council Member <br />Thomason, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent, and none (0) opposed, to approve. <br />The motion carried. <br />24.Hold discussion regarding the membership of the Solid Waste Task Force, and provide <br />direction to Staff. <br />Laurie Moyer, Managing Director of Transit and Solid Waste, provide a brief presentation to the <br />Council. The Council agreed with all suggestions provided.
