<br /> .. 49 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 188 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE CONTRACT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND <br /> COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR A GRANT TO ESTABLISH A SMALL <br /> BUSINESS INCUBATOR IN SAN MARCOS; AUTHORIZING THE M~YOR <br /> TO EXECUTE THIS AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On February 27, 1995 the City approved a contract between the City and the <br /> Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for a grant to establish a <br /> small business incubator in San Marcos. <br /> 2. The administrative function of this contract has been transferred to the Texas <br /> Department of Commerce (TDoC). <br /> 3. TDHCA has requested a contract amendment giving TDoC full authority and <br /> responsibility for certain services related to this contract. <br /> { <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That Amendment No.2 to the grant contract between the City and <br /> TDHCA, a copy of which is attached to and incoíporated in this Resolution for all intents <br /> and purposes, is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris, is authorized to execute the <br /> Amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
