In addition, the ENGINEER will perform all of the Basic Services described in Sections 1,2 and 1.3 for a separate construction contract for the CITY's main pumping station/transfer main/flow equalization basin improvements project under this Agreement; the ENGINEER may be requested to provided the Basic Services described in Sections 1.4 through 1.6 for this project under an amendment to this Agreement. . 1.2 BASIC SERVICES PHASE 1 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT General Administration 1.2,1 Assemble a Project Team comprised of the City's representative(s), the ENGINEER, the Construction Manager ("CM"), the ENGINEER's design team, and a firm representative fr.om each major consulting discipline, 1.2,2 Perform general administrative duties associated with the Project during the prelim inary and design phases, including progress monitoring, scheduling, general correspondence, office administration, and invoicing, 1,2.3 Maintain day-to-day contact and liaison with the CITY's representative(s), the CM and Project Team representatives. . 1.2.4 Ensure that the CITY's needs are met in a timely manner, 1.2,5 Provide Project communication; monitor work on the Project; and ensure that the work is executed in accordance with the work plan, within budget, and on schedule, Meetings and Workshops 1.2,6 Participate in the following meetings and conduct workshops to review progress and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information during the preliminary and final design phases: (a) Project initiation meeting with the Project Team representatives to discuss the scope and objectives of the Project, to set the design and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to vE?rify the components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the ENGINEER will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all Project participants to clarify the CITY's and the CM's requirements for the Project; review available data, Project organization and staffing, and establish lines of
