RIDER H <br /> Schèdule 4 <br /> DATA LOAD TEST <br /> PURPOSE: <br /> The: purpose: of the:: Data Loaù Te::st is to de:monstrate:: and verify that THE CITY's data files win be properly <br /> pnx:e:s:,.::ù. <br /> TIMING: <br /> This test win be performed after all test records have bèen loaded and processed either at Dynix or at the Library. <br /> This test may overlap other tests. <br /> PERFORMED BY: <br /> LIBRARY staff in conjunction with DYNIX staff. <br /> TEST METHODOLOGY: <br /> (I) THE CITY and DYNIX will jointly de::vdop data load s¡recitìcations in accordance with Section 7 of this <br /> Agreèment and Rider D Schèdule 4 of this Agrec:ment and the indexes s¡recified in Rider G, Table G-2. These <br /> s¡recitìcations (the ~Load S¡recifications~) will be set forth in writing by THE CITY. DYNIX will assist THE <br /> CITY in identifying inaccuracies or deficiencies in the Load Specifications and will work with THE CITY to <br /> revise the Load Specitìcation as appropriate. Revisions made as the result of inaccuracies in the Load <br /> Specifications may result in delays in record processing and additional charges. <br /> (2) THE CITY shall identify by control number (e.g. ISBN, LCCN, DCLC) up to one hundred (100) bibliographic <br /> records (the "Test Set") that shall be used to verify that processing has been done according to specifications. <br /> THE CITY is fèsponsible:: for selecting an accurate and representative Test Set. The records must include an <br /> ¡ùe::ntltiable: match point (e::.g. control num~r, ISBN, LCCN. OCLC # etc.) <br /> (3) DYNIX shall ùevdop and/or mo<.lify programs to process the data tIles according to the Load Specifications. <br /> (4) Library staff shall have five (5) working days from the time DYNIX delivers the processed record information <br /> for examination to review the Test Set and identify any discrepancies between the processed data and the Load <br /> Specifications. Notice of discrepancies shall be clearly reported to DYNIX. <br /> , <br /> (5) DYNIX win COrTect all reported problems as identifièd in (4) above. Steps 3-4 will be repeated until the Test <br /> Set is properly loadèd according to the Load Specifications. <br /> (6) DYNIX and THE CITY agree that DYNIX shall not be responsible for fixing problems not identified by the <br /> Load Specifications nor for corTecting erToneous records supplied to DYNIX by THE CITY. <br /> ACCEPT ANCE: <br /> The Data Load Test shall be successfully completed when the Test Set has bèen processed to meet the Load <br /> Specifications. If DYNIX receives no notice of load discrepancies within ten (10) days of delivering the processed <br /> records information for examination, the test shall be deemed successful.
