<br />141 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1994- <br /> <br />52 <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE <br />WASTEWATER MASTER PLAN ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND BLACK & VEATCH; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On October 12, 1993 the City of San Marcos <br />("City") entered into an Engineering Services Agreement with <br />Black & Veatch in connection with the Wastewater Master Plan. <br /> <br />2. Due to insignificant rainfall events during <br />the infiltration/inflow ("I/I") monitoring conducted between <br />October 22, 1993 and December 17, 1993 the data gathered was <br />insufficient to determine 1/1 quantities or to establish <br />relationships between rainfall amounts and 1/1 rates. <br /> <br />3. Both parties wish to amend the <br />agreement in order to repeat infiltration/inflow <br />monitoring for an additional eight week period. <br /> <br />original <br />("I/I") <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Amendment No. 3 to the Engineering <br />Services Agreement between the City and Black & Veatch, a <br />copy of which is attached to and incorporated in this <br />Resolution for all intents and purposes, is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />hereby authorized to execute the Amendment on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
