S3C- -4- the CITY, additional drawings and documents which describe the size, character and estimated cost of the entire Project. To the extent that building renovations from Part B of the Project are included in the approved scope of work, the ARCHITECT will also prepare measured drawings of existing conditions as appropriate. These documents will include floor plans; wall sections; structural system plans; and mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting system layouts. -- The ARCHITECT will prepare outline specifications which define all material types and finishes to be used and develop detailed cost estimates for the entire Project. Colored floor plans, elevations and color boards will be provided in order to clearly describe the character and appearance of the interior of the building. 1. 2.2 Construction Contract Documents Based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by the CITY in the scope, quality or budget of the Project, the ARCHITECT will prepare construction contract documents using forms supplied by the CITY. These contract documents will include detailed plans and specifications required for the project to be accurately bid. and efficiently constructed. The ARCHITECT will use its best professional judgment to create documents that comply with all applicable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the 'ARCHITECT including those required under the ADA. The ARCHITECT will be responsible for the submission of all plans and specifications for the construction of this Project to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for review and approval prior to the time construction is set to begin in conformance with Article 9102, V .A. C. S., Architectural Barriers Act. The ARCHITECT will conduct a review meeting with the CITY prior to completion of the construction contract documents. The ARCHITECT will prepare a final and detailed construction estimate and present it along with the contract documents to the CITY for review and approval. 1. 2.3 Biddinq The ARCHITECT, following the CITY's approval of the construction contract documents and of the latest detailed cost estimate of the Project, will assist the City in obtaining bids, tabulating bids, and in awarding the contract for construction. The ARCHITECT will be responsibile for the printing and binding of the bid documents in a number to be determined by consultation with the City's Representative, the distribution of the bid
