That, pursuant to section 30-99 of the San Marcos <br />Code of Ordinances, the following provisions shall apply to <br />commercial waste haulers delivering liquid waste to the city <br />pretreatment facility: <br /> <br />(a) The vehicle registration fees shall be as follows: <br /> <br />First Vehicle $100.00 <br />Additional Vehicles $ 75.00 each <br /> <br />Registration fee includes 100 manifest forms with <br />additional forms available at $0.35 each, with a <br />minimum purchase of 100 forms. All vehicles are <br />subject to annual inspection. Registrations are non- <br />transferable. <br /> <br />(b) The determination of the liquid waste delivery fee <br />imposed shall be based upon the actual amount of waste <br />delivered, if this can be readily verified from the <br />outside of the vehicle, or upon 100 percent of the <br />liquid capacity of the vehicle haul tank. The fee is <br />four cents ($.04) per gallon. <br /> <br />(c) The Director of Public Works, or the designated <br />representative of the Director, shall have <br />discretionary authority to reject any load of waste <br />delivered to the pretreatment facility and to limit the <br />quantities of wastes to conform to pretreatment <br />facility capacity. <br />¡ <br />, (d) Wastes accepted for treatment shall include, but not be <br />limited to: wastewaters, septage, grease-trap contents <br />and the like with pH levels between six (6) and twelve <br />(12) units. Pre-concentrated wastes shall not be <br />accepted. The City pretreatment facility will receive <br />liquid waste deliveries from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm seven <br />days a week. <br />
