<br /> 104 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 88 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE FORMAT FOR <br /> SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br /> VARIOUS AGENCIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994 COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO NEGOTIATE THE TERMS OF <br /> INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. The City has executed a contract for a Fiscal Year 1994 <br /> Entitlement Community Development Block Grant in the amount of <br /> $749,000 with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> 2. The City Council approved the allocation of a portion of <br /> these funds to various community agencies in Resolution 1994-29R on <br /> February 28, 1994. <br /> 3. The City Council desires to provide for disbursing of <br /> these allocated grant funds by authorizing i execution of <br /> Subrecipient Agreements with these agencies. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the format of the Subrecipient Agreement <br /> attached to this Resolution between the City and various agencies <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development for Fiscal Year 1994 <br /> community Development Block Grant Funds are approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, and the city <br /> Attorney, Mark B. Taylor, are authorized to negotiate the terms of <br /> individual subrecipient Agreements to fit the type of work or <br /> activity involved with each agency. <br /> PART 3. That the city Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized <br /> to execute these Agreements on behalf of the city. <br /> PART 4.
