60. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2003- 140 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING EL PASO FIELD SERVICES TO PROCEED WITH <br />THE LOWERING OF A HIGH PRESSURE GAS LINE ON DAVIS LANE; <br />APPROVING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS TO EL PASO FIELD <br />SERVICES FOR THIS WORK AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. El Paso Gas Company has a 2" high pressure gas line in a private easement <br />which crosses the alignment of Davis Lane near Hill Country Faith Ministries' facilities. <br /> <br /> 2. In order to complete the Davis Lane and Aquarena Springs Drive Project, the <br />line must be lowered and the City must bear the cost of the adjustment to the line. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. El Paso Field Services is authorized to proceed with lowering the high <br />pressure gas line in Davis Lane. <br /> <br /> PART 2. The City agrees to reimburse El Paso Field Services for these services <br />in an estimated amount of $34,000.00 in accordance with the attached letter from El Paso <br />Field Services dated August 12, 2003. <br /> <br /> PART 3.
