<br />y 7¡P <br /> -5- <br />4.15. EMS will provide proof of emergency driver training of all of <br />its paramedics/EMTS to the City Manager and County Judge. <br />4.16. EMS will participate in the Emergency Management Plans of the <br />City and County and in disaster drills conducted by the City and the <br />County. <br />4.17. In addition to providing services throughout the City limits of <br />the City, EMS will provide services to those parts of Hays County <br />adjacent to the City that it presently serves. Services by EMS to the <br />City of Buda and rural areas around Buda will be provided between 6:00 <br />a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br />4.18. EMS may provide services in other areas outside of Hays County <br />only under a contract approved by the EMS Board with a governmental <br />entity representing the area. . <br />4.19. EMS will maintain average response times into the following <br />areas equal to or less than the following times within each calendar <br />month: <br /> (a) City of San Marcos --- 7 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> (b) City of Buda ---16 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> (c) East/West of ---22 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> rural Buda <br /> (d) City of Kyle ---12 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> (e) West of Kyle ---16 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> rural area <br /> ( f) East of Kyle ---20 minutes - 75% of all calls <br /> rural area <br /> The response time is the time between the time an emergency <br />call is dispatched by the City to EMS and the time EMS's ambulance <br />arrives at the scene to which it has been dispatched. The City Manager <br />and County Judge may verify response times. A monthly response time <br />report will be provided to the City Manager and County Judge by EMS. <br />
