<br /> fL{¡.. ¡) <br /> Page 5 <br /> Appointinq Authority No. of Appointments <br /> city Council 3, including Mayor <br /> Pro-Tem and 1 from <br /> Arts Community <br /> Chamber of Commerce 2, including, 1 from <br /> the visitor industry <br /> Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2, including 1 from <br /> the visitor industry <br /> Hospitality Association 2, including 1 from the <br /> lodging industry <br /> Heritage Association 1 <br /> Downtown Association 1 <br /> Appointments made by the city council and the Chamber shall be <br /> for a term of one (1) year, and each appointee shall be limited to <br /> , <br /> three (3) consecutive terms. All other organizational appointees <br /> shall hold office for a term of three (3) years, with one-third <br /> appointed each year. No member shall serve more than three (3 ) <br /> consecutive years, except that the Board chairperson may extend a <br /> member's term for an additional year if more than one-third of <br /> Board members are beginning service ~t one time. Past members are <br /> eligible for reappointment after one year. <br /> The city Manager of the city and the President of the Chamber or <br /> their designees shall be non-voting, ex-officio members of the <br /> Convention and Visitors Bureau Board. <br /> E. Purchases made with CVB funds which exceed $1000 in amount <br /> shall be made from the low responsible bidder, and at least three <br /> bids shall be obtained for each such purchase.
