<br /> ¡}o¡:.:. <br /> -7- <br />assembled by the Contractor; will issue final certificates for <br />payment or take other appropriate action; and will make a written <br />recommendation to CITY regarding CITY's acceptance of the Project. <br />1.3.13 Prepare, or cause to be prepared, and submit to the CITY <br />a set of reproducible record drawings .showing significant changes <br />in the work made during the construction phase. <br />1.3.14 Observe the furnishings installation. <br />1. 3.15 Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, review <br />the completed project with the CITY and Contractor and have all <br />deficient items corrected. The ARCHITECT will also insure that <br />nominal amounts of replacement materials for maintenance purposes <br />are furnished to the CITY by the Contractor. The extent of the <br />duties, responsibilities and limitations of authority of the <br />ARCHITECT as the CITY's representative during construction will <br />not be modified or extended after the construction contract <br />documents have been authorized by CITY to be competitively bid <br />without written consent of the CITY and the ARCHITECT and with <br />notice to the Contractor. <br />1.4 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> . <br />1.4.1 Compensation to the ARCHITECT for additional services <br />will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services <br />described in this Agreement or in the ARCHITECT's proposal for <br />architectural services to the CITY. <br />1.4.2 Additional services will be provided by ARCHITECT if <br />authorized or confirmed in writing by the CITY and compensation <br />will be in addition to that specified for basic services, in <br />accordance with Section 13.2.1 of this Agreement. An amendment to <br />this Agreement is necessary for all additional services the <br />compensation for which exceeds $15.,000. Additional services will <br />include resident project representation beyond that provided as a <br />part of Basic Services. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />2_1 The CITY will provide full information to the ARCHITECT <br />regarding requirements for the Project. Such information will <br />include the CITY's design objectives, constraints and criteriar <br />including space requirements and requirements and relationships, <br />flexibility and expandability and special equipment and systems. <br />2.2 The CITY will provide a legal description of the site <br />including a graphic survey of the property with all existing <br />easements, setbacks, and utilities and a topographic survey. The <br />CITY will provide a geotechnical report regarding soil conditions <br />of the site with recommendations for load bearing capacities and <br />foundation/paving designs. <br />
