<br /> ;Job- <br /> -8- <br />2.3 The CITY will provide a budget for the Project which <br />will include contingencies for bidding¡ changes in the work during <br />construction, and other costs which are the responsibility of the <br />CITY¡ including those described in this Article 2 and in <br />Subsection 3.1.2. The ARCHITECT will accept the CITY's <br />authorization to bid the Project as evidence that arrangements <br />exist for fulfillment of the financial obligations assumed by the <br />CITY hereunder. <br />2.4 The CITY will designate a representative authorized to <br />act in the CITY's behalf with respect to the Project. The CITY <br />and/or such authorized representative will examine the documents <br />submitted by the ARCHITECT and will render responses pertaining <br />thereto promptly and provide ARCHITECT with requested data or <br />information in CITY's possession relating to the Project. <br />2.5 The CITY will provide access to and make all necessary <br />provisions for the ARCHITECT to enter upon public and private <br />property as required for the ARCHITECT to perform its services <br />under this Agreement. <br />2.6 The CITY will furnish all legal, accounting and <br />insurance counseling services as may be necessary at any time for <br />the proj ect, including such auditing services ,as the CITY may <br />require to ascertain how or for what purposes the Contractor used <br />the money paid by or on behalf of the CITY. <br />2.7 The CITY will furnish required information and services <br />and will render responses and conduct its review of written <br />materials as expeditiously as possible. <br />2.8 The CITY will pay all costs incident to obtaining bids <br />or proposals from Contractors (e. g., legal notice requirements and <br />the provision of the City facilities for pre-bid conferences). <br />2.9 The CITY will either direct the ARCHITECT to perform any <br />Additional Services necessary to complete the Project or will <br />furnish those services itself. <br />2.10 The CITY will pay all fees for filing and processing <br />permits in connection with the Project and for the submission of <br />plans and specifications to the State Department of Licensing and <br />Regulation. <br />2.11 The CITY will bear all costs incident to this Article. <br />2.12 The CITY will provide its standard construction contract <br />documents, which do not include plans or technical specifications, <br />to the ARCHITECT prior to commencement of the design development <br />phase, Section 1.2. <br />2.13 In the event that the CITY requires resident inspection <br />services to be performed on the proj ect , the City will provide <br />building space suitable for use as an office, the storage of <br />
