The requested permit is a <br /> - . water conservation measure utilizing methods involving water re-use and recycling. At <br /> the present time, 100% of the treated effluent discharged into the San Marcos River by <br /> the City of San Marcos is Edwards Aquifer water. The City agrees to limit its diversion <br /> of water to 99% of the water the City discharges into the river.
