Tape and Mastic: Secure the joint with approved <br /> mastic and one layer of open mesh glass tape. <br /> Brush on a 4" wide coating over the stapled flap. <br /> Embed the open mesh glass tape in the mastic. <br /> Apply an additional coat of mastic over the tape <br /> filling in the mesh. <br /> , <br /> Sec. 5-33 to 5-39. Standard Plumbing Code Adopted. <br /> (a) The Standard Plumbing Code, 1991 Edition, including <br /> Appendices A, E, F, G, I, and K and the 1992 Revisions, <br /> published by the Southern Building Code Congress <br /> International, Inc., is adopted herein by reference. <br /> (b) All city plumbing regulations shall apply throughout <br /> the city limits, and shall also apply to all plumbing work, <br /> regardless of location, which is or,will be connected to the <br /> city water or sewer system. <br /> Sec. 5-41. Licensing. <br /> (a) A person applying for a plumbing permit must be: <br /> (1) a licensed Master Plumber under state law; or, <br /> (2) exempt from the licensing law. <br /> (b) Plumbing work by a maintenance person exempt from <br /> State licensing is subject to the following restrictions: <br /> (1) Only maintenance of existing plumbing systems, <br /> such as replacement of faucets and faucet <br /> seats, and replacement of fixtures and exposed <br /> lines and traps where no change of rough-in is <br /> involved, may be performed. <br />
