<br /> I D 5"C-- I <br /> RFP 93-021 <br /> responsible for answering technical and contractual <br /> questions with respect to the proposal <br /> 1. 4.3 All equipment proposed by the proponent must be <br /> identified by manufacturer, model number, and any other <br /> pertinent identification information. <br /> 1.4.4 Parts and components not specifically mentioned in this <br /> RFP, which are required to provide a complete'unit shall <br /> be included in the proposal as a part of the equipment to <br /> be furnished. <br /> 1. 4.5 Each proponent shall include in its proposal the <br /> following literature with respect to the equipment: <br /> A. Manufacturer's descriptive literature, drawings¡ <br /> and specifications. <br /> B. Copy of one-year warranty. <br /> 1.5 Proponents should submit proposals specifying costs for <br /> equipment on a unit price basis. Quantities and configurations <br /> listed in this RFP are approximate, and payment to the proponent <br /> will be based on actual quantities of equipment furnished. <br /> 1.6 Each proponent shall specify the maximum ~ number of days <br /> required for delivery and installation of the equipment from the <br /> date of award of the proposal by the city of San Marcos. <br /> 1.7 Proponent shall include in its proposal the outright sale, <br /> including delivery and installation, of the equipment that <br /> accomplishes the objectives of this RFP. Such proposal shall <br /> specify the lump sum purchase price for delivery and installation <br /> of the equipment. <br /> 1.8 Proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of <br /> the proponent. The proposal must be responsive to these <br /> specifications, but may contain additional information. The <br /> proponent may propose an alternative system that meets the <br /> objectives (see 1. 0) of the city of San Marcos. The city reserves <br /> the right to reject any or all proposals, and they become the <br /> property of the city. <br /> 1.9 Proponents shall include, as part of their proposal package, <br /> manufacturer's marketing literature that describes the system being <br /> offered. <br /> 1.10 Evaluation Factors: The City of San Marcos will consider <br /> many evaluation factors (of which cost is only one factor)¡ and <br /> will review proposals from all proponents.
