.. 1J.-1A- 45° 00' 00" E 60.00 feet to a 5/8" iron bolt found for the north corner of the city of San Marcos tract and west corner and Place of BEGINNING of this tract; THENCE continuing with the common southeast line of Valley Street and northwest line of Block 10 and Block 11 N 45° 00' 00" 625.95 feet to an 1/2" iron rod set for the north corner of Block 11 at the intersection of the southeast line of Valley Street and the southwest line of Shady Lane, pass at 264 feet a point for the north corner of Block 10 and west corner of Block 11; THENCE with the common northeast line of Block 11 and southwest line of Shady Lane S 47° 12' 04" E 333.58 feet to a point in a creekbed for the east corner of Block 11, pass at 166.79 feet an 1/2" iron rod set; THENCE with the southeast line of Block 11 and Block 10 the following two courses: 1. S 45° 00' 00" W 606.52 feet to an angle point, pass at 374.77 feet a point for the south corner of Block 11 and east corner of Block 10; 2. N 89° 03' 39" W 46.38 feet to concrete nail ~et in an asphalt street (Jackman street' for the east corner of that tract of land described in a deed from Jose Montelongo et ux to the ci ty of San Marcos dated March 5, 1976 and recorded in Volume 282, Page 517 of the Hays County Deed Records. THENCE crossing Block 10 with the northeast lines of the Montelongo to the City tract and the Dowell to the City tract N 45° 00' 00" W 300.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, pass at 34.16 feet an 1/2" iron rod set and pass at 150.00 feet an 1/2" iron rod set. , There are contained within these metes and bounds, 4.83 acres, more or less, of land area as prepared from public records and surveys made on the ground during November, 1992 by Byrn & Associates, Inc. of San Marcos, Texas. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on May 24, 1993 it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of May , 1993, subject to reconsideration at the next regular city council meeting scheduled for May 24, 1993 .
